Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

**Job Title:** Quality Control Technician (DIRECT HIRE)

**Location:** Philadelphia, PA

**Pay Range:** $23.75

**Shift:** 3rd Shift - 10pm-630am

What's the Job?

+ Maintain and enforce quality and safety standards throughout the production process, from raw material receipt to finished product.

+ Perform inspections, testing, and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP, and company policies.

+ Manage and document quality concerns, lead corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Operate laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, refractometers, and texture analyzers, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

+ Lead GMP audits, mock recalls, and food safety audits to uphold the organization’s commitment to delivering safe, high-quality products.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ 2–3 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.

+ 2+ years of laboratory technician or QA experience preferred.

+ Background in chemistry, biology, or food science is a plus.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in computer recordkeeping.
