    Our client, a leading provider in data center operations, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the D&T department supporting on-site infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have a teachable mindset, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Data Center Technician

    **Location:** Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

    **Pay Range:** $38–$41 hourly

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Perform Rack & Stack and cabling between cabinets on servers and network assets

    + Install, test, label, and dress both fiber and copper cabling

    + Reboot devices and assist with general server operations

    + Participate in asset management, inventory, shipping & receiving

    + Communicate professionally with clients and troubleshoot as needed

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + 2+ years of experience working in a data center

    + Ability to terminate copper and use Fluke cable testers

    + Comfortable working on ladders up to 12 feet and lifting devices over 50 lbs.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

    + High School Diploma
