    Our client, a leader in the aerospace and energy industry, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer IV to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer IV, you will be part of the Gas Turbine Engineering organization supporting the Design Liaison Engineering (DLE) team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a proactive approach to quality and innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Mechanical Design Engineer IV

    **Location:** Greenville, SC

     

    Pay Range: $53 - $57 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to resolve manufacturing issues related to hot gas path hardware for gas turbines.

    + Utilize analytical tools to analyze hardware deviations and develop effective solutions to improve hardware quality and performance.

    + Lead hardware redesign efforts by revising drawings to enhance manufacturability and reliability.

    + Act as a technical focal point for qualification of new processes, changes, and second source suppliers.

    + Conduct technical reviews of design tasks, assess risks at various levels, and contribute to process improvements.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proven experience in mechanical engineering within the aerospace or energy sectors.

    + Strong analytical skills and proficiency with engineering tools and software.

    + Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Knowledge of gas turbine design and manufacturing processes.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
