Description
The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Planning Team is searching for a passionate and talented Regional Power Programs TIPM to drive improvements in existing data center utilization across the US-West region. You will have goals to reclaim stranded power and work with regional planners to maximize the use of space/power/cooling in each data center. You will work across the AWS Organization to forecast project requirements, plan resources, review performance to plan, and improve processes and automation to deliver capacity more efficiently.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage the delivery of US-East infrastructure capacity projects in support of regional data center utilization goals
• Develop project schedules, forecast resourcing needs, report on performance to plan, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Work with the Power Utilization Management and Planning (PUMP) team and the CDP AMER Power Projects Lead to align regional delivery work with global strategic objectives
• Work with Fleet Remediation Engineering (FRE) and Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) to plan resources, execute site-level plans initiated by each respective CDP cluster planner, and assist with securing project funding where needed
• Work with CDP cluster planners, FRE, and CPI to determine constraining factors in each data center and come up with outside the box solutions for improving power utilization across sites, campuses, and Availability Zones (AZs)
• Influence product roadmaps and automation such as Position Recovery Planner (PRP) and lead efforts to scale the planning and delivery of infrastructure in existing data centers
• Work with partner teams to optimize the 0-2 year planning schedules for different types of infrastructure projects such Reworks/Simple Infills, Complex Infills, WMW-ERE, ERUDs, DC Refresh, and Site Turndown.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
