What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for anything unusual.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and helping to maintain orderly flow within the location.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members during routine activities and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
