As a **Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol** in **Englewood, CO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive approach. You will interact with guests and staff, answering questions and offering friendly assistance while upholding the highest standards of customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide outstanding customer service by following site-specific procedures, security-related protocols, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols inside the retail location and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related issues to management and/or Allied Universal as required.

+ Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials when necessary.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any security-related incidents.

+ Document daily activities and incidents according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
