    As a **Security Officer - CRE Front Desk Full-Time** in **Washington, DC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, delivering outstanding customer service while overseeing access control and managing security-related desk operations. Your role will involve monitoring entry points, assisting with badge procedures, and responding to inquiries with professionalism.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

    + Monitor entry and exit points at the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.

    + Manage visitor and vendor sign-in and sign-out processes according to site requirements.

    + Communicate professionally and courteously with tenants and/or employees in the building, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

    + Maintain logs and reports related to front desk activities, incidents, and/or other security-related matters.

    + Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuation procedures and/or contacting emergency services when appropriate.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

    + Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
