As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your professional customer service skills will contribute to a positive atmosphere for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property by vehicle in accordance with company and client requirements. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe and report incidents or unusual activities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.

+ Assist visitors, employees, and/or tenants with inquiries and provide directions within the location as needed.

+ Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of site-specific policies.

+ Complete written reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and/or any incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
