As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor access, manage badge entry, and respond to alarm panels as needed, all while delivering exceptional customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to all visitors, students, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

    + Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.

    + Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or onsite management.

    + Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.

    + Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns to Allied Universal and/or location management as appropriate.

    + Support the overall security-related objectives of the location by providing information and assistance to visitors and staff.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

    + Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
