    Description: An Inventory Specialist job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati (Evendale), OH (100% in person role). This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. Fully qualified candidates will have 2 years of inventory/asset management experience with a Security+ or higher certification and an active DOD clearance. The Inventory Specialist will be involved in all aspects of asset management and procurement processes that impact IT Operations.

    Inventory Specialist job duties:

    • Will ensure all inventory meets the security compliance standards enforced by the clients.

    • Responsible for maintaining all physical IT hardware such as: Desktops, Computer peripherals, Servers, IP switches, IP phones, Hard Drives

    • Follow all inventory standard operating procedures and look for areas of improvement

    • Work within ServiceNow on updating assigned tasks and all areas of the CMDB around asset management

    • Receive, stage, inventory, and tag all hardware deliveries

    • Work with IT Operations around all aspects of asset management

    • Working with vendors based on hardware needs

    • Work with our Service Desk team on needed tasks

    • Work with Project Managers and technicians for their hardware needs.

    • Manage returns, damaged goods, and end of life assets, and escalate concerns when needed.

    • Provide inventory reports as needed by the customer.

    • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.

    • Forecast material needs in alignment with project planning and demand growth.

    • Management of all stockrooms (on-site and remote) and data centers

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    • Ability to lift 35lbs or more

    • Switch between warehouse and office environments

    • Ability to use various warehouse tools such as a pallet jack

    • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking

    • Travel between all buildings on GE Campus

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years" experience with asset management

    • Experience working within ServiceNow or other ITSM products

    • A strong understanding of IT Operations and Infrastructure

    • Must have a DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one

    • Must have a current CompTIA Security+ or the ability to obtain one within 90 days

    • Must be able to work onsite 100% of the time in Evendale, OH

    • Must be a US Citizen & Hold an active Secret Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Oracle iProcurement or similar Procurement platforms

    • Experience with procurement processes and standards such as: Ordering, Receiving, Shipping, Packaging

    • Strong attention to detail and organization in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

    • Experience with one or more warehouse slotting techniques

    • Strong understanding of record management and reporting

    • Understand lifecycle operations of asset management

    • A desire for process improvement

    • An understanding of IT Service Desk support and IT knowledge

    COMPENSATION:

    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $70,000-$80,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
