As a Patrol Armed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing conflict resolution and de-escalation skills as required.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.

+ Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations within the location.

+ Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding observations, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.

+ Participate in site-specific training to remain informed about healthcare protocols, emergency procedures, and any changes in site policies.

+ Assist with crowd management, visitor screening, and enforcement of facility rules to help to deter disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

+ A valid armed guard card or license is required as specified by state and/or local regulations.

+ A high school diploma or equivalent is required as proof for the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
