As a **Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver** in **Union Gap, WA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for guests and businesses. Through routine patrols, visible presence, and outstanding customer service, you will play a key role in promoting a positive atmosphere. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you support our commitment to agility, reliability, and innovation while prioritizing people and teamwork every day.

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner, working with Allied Universal and client teams as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel following established protocols.

+ Support access control measures as required, including monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials where necessary.

+ Maintain high visibility throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.

+ Complete detailed and accurate written reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal policies.

+ Assist with crowd management and/or traffic flow during peak times or special events at the location.

+ Provide information and directions to visitors, tenants, and/or customers as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
