What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site-specific procedures.

+ Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and issuing temporary badges in accordance with company policies.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence at access points and throughout designated areas.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the perimeter and designated areas within the manufacturing and industrial location to observe for security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and observations according to company protocols.

+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from employees, contractors, and visitors while upholding site security-related protocols and Allied Universal standards.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.

+ Remain alert to potential hazards or operational disruptions specific to manufacturing and industrial environments, and report findings as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possession of a valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
