As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrols** in **Denver, CO** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for shoppers, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at retail or mall locations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.

+ Assist visitors and employees with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as part of patrol duties.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards found during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
