As a **Security Officer - Patrol Driver Residential** in **Ladera Ranch, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a vibrant residential location, where you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors. As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for conducting vehicle patrols in accordance with our guidelines. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout each encounter.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter, observing for potential issues or security-related concerns.

+ Help to deter unauthorized activities or access by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, unusual circumstances, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site protocols.

+ Assist residents, visitors, and staff with questions or requests, providing directions or information as needed while maintaining a courteous demeanor.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site-specific instructions.

+ Remain alert to surroundings and consistently monitor for potential hazards or suspicious activity throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, as required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
