What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Monitor and screen individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting and documenting as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Operate security-related equipment such as metal detectors, X-ray machines, or handheld scanners as required by site protocols.

+ Collaborate and communicate with site staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to maintain a secure environment.

+ Document observations, incidents, and any irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
