    Basic Job Functions:

    Nucor Steel Florida Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the position ofAccountant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (1) Perform day-to-day accounting tasks (2) Assisting with the month end close procedures (3) Maintaining and continuously improving the internal control structure (4) Learning and assisting team with all accounting functionsstarting with accounts payable (5) assists with ad hoc tasks and projects. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 4-year degree in Accounting or other financially related field

    + Microsoft Office experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Manufacturing Accounting experience

    + Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving mindset.

    + Oracle EBS experience

    + Power BI experience

     

    Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
