As a **Security Officer - Access Control Logistics** in **Spartanburg, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the premises by verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals with site-specific policies and procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report security-related issues.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, or situations as required by Allied Universal policies and client site procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local emergency services when necessary.

+ Maintain awareness of logistics and distribution operations to support the security-related needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
