What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or incidents.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal procedures.

+ Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

+ Communicate and/or coordinate with law enforcement, emergency personnel, and site management as required by site-specific protocols.

+ Prepare detailed incident and/or activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
