As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail or mall locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate, at the retail or mall location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns as they arise at the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership, following established protocols.

+ Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and general inquiries to enhance their experience at the location.

+ Document daily activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences according to company and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
