As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government Card** in **Alexandria, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

+ Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing excellent customer service to all visitors and staff.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed security personnel in a government location.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any irregularities.

+ Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report findings to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or local authorities as needed.

+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and/or client contacts.

+ Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related events observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.

+ Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
