    Production Supervisor:

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the investment casting production module. Working under the direction of the Operations Manager, this role ensures that safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals are achieved efficiently and cost-effectively. The Supervisor leads and develops a team of production employees, driving continuous improvement and adherence to company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Safety & Compliance

    + Serve as a safety leader, promoting a culture of safety-first in all operations.

    + Partner with the EHS Manager to maintain and enforce safety programs, policies, and compliance with all OSHA and environmental regulations.

    + Ensure housekeeping, health, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.

    Production Management

    + Plan, schedule, and assign production activities to meet customer delivery timelines, quality standards, and cost objectives.

    + Monitor production flow, equipment performance, and operator efficiency to ensure smooth operations.

    + Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to coordinate work between foundry, wax, shell, and finishing operations.

    Quality & Continuous Improvement

    + Ensure team adherence to ISO/TS and internal quality systems.

    + Evaluate production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

    + Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances and process deviations.

    People Development

    + Train and mentor employees on production methods, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

    + Conduct performance reviews and participate in the hiring, onboarding, and development of production personnel.

    + Maintain fair and consistent management of attendance, scheduling, and vacation requests.

    Operational Excellence

    + Maintain production records, timekeeping, and documentation accurately and on schedule.

    + Oversee department supplies, tooling, and maintenance needs, recommending preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

    + Review work orders, blueprints, and specifications to ensure alignment with production goals and customer requirements.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    + Directly supervises Lead Technicians and Manufacturing Technicians within assigned production area.

    + Provides guidance, feedback, and support to ensure a productive, engaged, and safety-conscious team.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    + High school diploma or equivalent (HSED/GED) required; technical or associate degree preferred.

    + 2+ years of manufacturing supervision experience; experience in **investment casting** , metal foundry, or precision manufacturing preferred.

    + Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems and tools.

     

    Compensation: $75k/$85k base + benefits.

     

    **Pay Details:** $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
