             A leading client in Newark NJ is seeking an Administrative Staff Assistant position for a temp to perm role. Apply today for immediate consideration! Title: Administrative Staff Assistant Pay rate: $30/hr Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday) Duties: + Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Administration the Administrative Staff Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Administration and Research office, research staff and faculty. + Assists in sending communication for meetings and events, calendar management, scheduling meetings via MS Teams, Zoom and Webex. + Processes grant related expenses for consultants, supplies, travel, and non-grant related expenses for Tenure Track Faculty including some Research Faculty. + Manages the procurement of supply and equipment. Maintains the facilities supply inventory and associated databases. Monitors spaces for required maintenance and distributes supplies as needed. + Assists with scheduling Seminar Series for large groups. + Assists the department with administrative coordination for document preparation, meetings management and meeting summaries. + Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Previous administrative experience, calendar management, scheduling, phones, office correspondence. Proficiency with MS office suite, zoom meetings, MS teams, basic Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
