**Job Title:** Estimator – Electrical / Renewables
**Location:** Norton, MA
**Job Type:** Full-Time, On-Site (Limited Hybrid Flex, Flexible Hours)
**Pay Range:** $90,000 – $140,000 (depending on experience and level)

Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established EPC contractor in the electrical infrastructure and renewable energy sector based in the Norton, MA area, to help them hire a **Project Estimator** . This role will support complex utility, substation, solar and BESS projects, contributing to high-value bids and budgets while working within a team known for delivering on demanding timelines and technical scope.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review project plans, specifications and contract documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
+ Develop budgets for projects ranging from roughly $1M to $30M, spanning civil/site work, electrical and utility scopes.
+ Examine contract terms, general conditions, and addenda to ensure all estimate elements are captured accurately.
+ Perform quantity take-offs and value analysis across disciplines (electrical, civil/site, structural).
+ Leverage estimating and scheduling tools (like Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Accubid) to support bid preparation.
+ Manage estimating tasks independently.
Qualifications and Must-Haves
+ Minimum of 5 years of construction estimating experience, ideally in electrical, site/civil or utility infrastructure.
+ Strong proficiency in understanding contract documents (general requirements, general conditions, plans, specs and addenda).
+ Demonstrated ability to perform take-offs and build estimates without direct supervision.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong numerical/analytical ability.
+ Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with Primavera P6 and cost-estimating software (Accubid preferred).
+ Self-motivated, highly organized, capable of working both independently and within a team.
+ Experience in transportation, electrical, communications, or other contracting backgrounds is a plus.
+ Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering; prior estimating of large-scale facility, substation or utility projects (especially medium/high voltage) is strongly desirable.
**Pay Details:** $90,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
