Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a **Medical Assistant** in **Brooksville, Florida** ! This role is in person / onsite. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.
**Position Type** : Three-month contract, with opportunity for extension or fulltime offer
**Schedule** : Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
**Pay** : $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience
**Specialty:** Family Medicine
**Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant** :
• Demonstrates clinical competence in the direct care of patients in established area(s) of practice, and assisting MDs with procedures
• Performs clinical duties within scope of practice.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to patient care, focusing on addressing each patients individual and family needs at the time of service; communicates identified needs in a timely manner
• Directs and/or escorts patients to exam rooms in a timely manner
• Demonstrated clinical competence when assisting physician/mid-level healthcare professional and/or nurse during exams and office diagnostic procedures/treatments
• Performs authorized procedures competently (i.e. vital signs, vision screening, selected laboratory tests) as directed by physician or nurse in clinical practice area
**Qualifications** **of the Medical Assistant** :
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant on the national level
• Medical Assistant experience

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
