    Adecco is hiring immediately for a Leather Standards Production Associate in Rochester Hills, MI!

     

    This is a full-time position in the Natural Marking Limits (NML) Department at a design and development facility. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or could be earlier and the pay is **$18.00 per hour** . As a Leather Standards Production Associate, you will perform essential duties that support the manufacturing of leather standards, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the production process.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Production Duties:

    + Visually inspect leather hides/splits for quality.

    + Perform cutting necessary to prepare samples for embossing.

    + Sort samples based on quality and embossing ease.

    + Operate embossing press (Mostardini) and clicker cutter.

    + Lift/load tooling plates into embossing equipment.

    + Review embossed samples for replication accuracy and minimal defects.

    + Label and assemble approved samples into binders for shipment.

    + Track cutting performance and maintain updated inventory of materials and finished samples.

    + Maintain log sheets with trial results and embossing settings.

    + Inspect new tooling for defects and document concerns.

    Administrative Duties:

    + Manage the Corporate NML email account for book orders.

    + Maintain log sheets for all orders (new, in process, and closed).

    + Coordinate with accounting to prepare customer invoices.

    + Prepare completed orders for shipment via UPS, FedEx, etc.

    + Track monthly NML project performance and consumables for reorder.

    + Research and obtain quotes for process improvement equipment.

    Requirements:

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + Able to understand and speak English.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

    + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    + Close attention to detail and willingness to learn.

    + Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual.

    + Able to work in a fast-paced and evolving manufacturing environment.
