    Job Description

    We are a rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing organization specializing in custom electrical systems for industrial and commercial applications. Our team designs and builds advanced control panels, switchgear systems, and low-to-medium voltage solutions tailored to client specifications. With a strong focus on innovation, quality, and technical excellence, we support a wide range of projects from concept through production, ensuring reliable and scalable electrical infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    + Generate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and point-to-point drawings, and manage the bill of materials and order changes.

    + Research and maintain knowledge of product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities, and market conditions for new product development.

    + Review and analyze product configurations and components.

    + Design circuits, perform engineering calculations, and provide input to other departments, including drafting, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel.

    + Participate in customer project review/drawing approval meetings.

    + Support other team members as needed.

    + Participate and lead customer inspections and witness tests.

    + Manage changes to order requirements and assist with product warranty.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical with 2-5 years of experience.

    + Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and point-to-point drawings.

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

    + Experience in electrical design, switchgear, troubleshooting, and controls engineering.

    + Knowledge of power system design, medium voltage, relay control, and ETAP.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with control panels or electrical circuits is highly valued.

    + Low and medium voltage experience is a plus.

    + ETAP experience is a plus but training will be provided.

    Work Environment

    This position is within a manufacturing company specializing in electrical power systems. The team comprises 3 electrical engineers, 2 mechanical engineers, and 3 wire technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment focused on innovation and quality.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona , California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
