    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to develop and refine manufacturing processes. The goal is to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality through process design and optimization. You will lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, employing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality. Additionally, you will manage process improvement projects from conception through implementation, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

    + Lead and participate in process improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Manage process improvement projects from conception through implementation.

    + Analyze process data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions for performance enhancement.

    + Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.

    + Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of process specifications, procedures, and changes.

    + Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and production staff on process best practices and safety protocols.

    + Lead the implementation of assets in the plant, preparing Design Reviews and obtaining necessary approvals.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues.

    + Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

    + Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Experience in process engineering, time studies, line balancing, and production transfer.

    + Background in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Concord, New Hampshire.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
