• Entry Level Designer

    Actalent (Athens, OH)


    We’re looking for a passionate and detail-driven Designer/Field Technician to join our growing team in the exciting world of Power Distribution. If you thrive in both the field and the office, love solving complex design challenges, and want to make a real impact on infrastructure projects, this is the role for you!What You’ll Do:

     

    + Create detailed designs, drawings, and specifications that bring power distribution projects to life.

    + Work independently to produce high-quality manual or computer-assisted construction drawings with precision and minimal errors.

    + Interpret and apply industry standards and company specifications to your designs.

    + Collaborate on cost estimates, evaluations, and requisitions to support project planning.

    + Assist with engineering calculations and technical documentation.

    + Coordinate equipment deliveries and design timelines to keep projects on track.

    + Collect and analyze field data to inform design decisions and evaluate equipment performance.

    What You Bring:

    + High School Diploma or Associate Degree in a technical field preferred – but if you’ve got the experience, we want to hear from you

    + Proven leadership and technical skills to take ownership of your work.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
