Job Title: Construction Superintendent - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage specific trades on assigned construction sites, particularly within the life science/manufacturing sector. This role is pivotal in leading vendors and subcontractors to meet project objectives while maintaining safety, quality, and corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction supervision, with a strong ability to manage union subcontractors and schedules efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Assume primary responsibility for activities associated with specific trades on assigned construction sites.

+ Lead assigned vendors and subcontractors to achieve project goals and milestones.

+ Ensure the achievement of safety objectives and corporate goals for assigned projects.

+ Ensure projects meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

+ Interact with clients on-site to promote positive relationships and address project needs.

+ Support the development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.

+ Develop a working knowledge of project budgets for assigned trades and identify exceptions.

+ Oversee subcontractor and vendor work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

+ Participate in constructibility reviews of design documents.

+ Facilitate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and project personnel.

+ Conduct periodic site inspections and evaluations, reporting findings.

+ Support the production of daily reports on site conditions, including weather and safety issues.

+ Review and ensure compliance of project activities with legal and regulatory requirements.

+ Oversee startup and commissioning activities of assigned trades if included in the project scope.

Essential Skills

+ 5-15 years of experience in life science/manufacturing Construction Superintendent roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.09 - $96.15/hr.
