Job Title: Robotics Specialist

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a new role as a Robotics Specialist, where you will be responsible for optimizing and processing jobs through modeling and programming software (Tekla) for robotic welding units. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient manufacturing practices and supporting production schedules.

Responsibilities

+ Complete the exporting and processing of all jobs into modeling software, ensuring successful export and processing through Cortex programming software before release to robotic welding units.

+ Prepare Tekla models for every production order using corrected frame data, engineering welding standards, and robotic operational limitations to develop robotic operational files.

+ Export job data from Tekla into Cortex programming software as required.

+ Verify Cortex data accuracy, edit individual part programs to maximize manufacturing efficiency, and create the final operations file for the robotic operator station.

+ Provide efficiency, welding parameters, productivity, and other operational reports to assist management in improving operations and increasing efficiency.

+ Monitor robotic operations, make program adjustments, establish a standards library, and develop manufacturing limitations for robotic operations.

+ Collaborate with design engineers and detailing personnel to determine efficient changes in products to improve production flow.

Qualifications

+ Experience with modeling software and AutoCAD drawings.

+ Experience with Tekla is highly preferred.

+ Knowledge and experience in manufacturing robotics.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering data, and piece part drawings.

+ Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

+ 2 or 4-year degree in Engineering is highly preferred.

+ Prior experience or knowledge of robotics within manufacturing.

Work Environment

Work within a steel manufacturing/fabrication facility, contributing to the addition of a brand new Robotic Welding cell to the production process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
