             Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated CQA Technician to join our team. The role involves working in the lab, performing wastewater testing, quality inspections, and other assigned duties. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting coils, performing tests, and managing the process of treating coils to ensure compliance with PH permit limits. Additionally, this position requires conducting various tests, including titrations and physical testing, to ensure product quality. Responsibilities + Inspect coils and perform testing to ensure quality. + Manage the process of treating coils, including making baths and treating water. + Ensure compliance with PH permit limits through testing and documentation. + Perform titrations and correct baths when out of specification. + Document test results and maintain spreadsheets. + Conduct multiple tests on coils based on customer specifications. + Communicate with production regarding coil defects and issues. + Perform blister testing and communicate results to mill representatives. Essential Skills + Experience in a laboratory setting, either from college or work. + Understanding of the PH Scale. + Experience working with chemicals, paints, coatings, or metals. + High School Diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical aptitude. + Experience in wastewater treatment and water treatment processes. + Familiarity with pumping stations, pumps, valves, and quality control procedures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
