Job Description Join our team as a Medical Assistant where you will engage with patients from start to finish, ensuring a seamless healthcare experience. Full Medical Assistant training as well as assistance with obtaining a Medical Assistant certification. Responsibilities + Room patients and prepare them for consultations. + Accurately scribe and record medical information. + Present patient information to the doctor. + Conduct follow-up with patients as required. Essential Skills + Background in biology. + Experience as a scribe is a plus + Familiarity with pre-med coursework. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Interest in pursuing higher education in the medical field. + Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification is supported and leads to a salary increase. + Hands-on experience in a clinical setting is provided. + Opportunities for long-term networking and career advancement. Work Environment Work within a collaborative team at various heart and vascular clinics in locations such as Avista, Lakewood, Westminster, and Longmont. The role follows a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional floating to secondary clinics approximately one day per week. The work environment offers a supportive group of doctors and ample learning opportunities. Typically, work hours are scheduled between 35-40 hours per week to allow time for educational pursuits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
