Job Captain/Project Architect

Responsibilities
+ Create and review construction documents (CDs) to ensure compliance with firm standards, mechanical systems, building codes, and ADA requirements.
+ Oversee all CD production and review for smaller projects.
+ Coordinate with senior technical and design staff to provide technical solutions for design challenges.
+ Manage projects through the contract administration phase.
+ Coordinate engineering consultant work to ensure compliance with design solutions and timely document submission.
+ Assist with field surveys in unusual circumstances.
+ Manage contract administration budgets for assigned projects, ensuring adherence and informing relevant parties of any potential budget variances.
+ Mentor junior and intermediate designers, oversee tasks, and provide feedback on work products.
+ Conduct client interviews to determine technical requirements for design.
Qualifications
+ Graduate of architecture or design school, or equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years of experience in corporate interior design projects.
+ Proficiency in Revit and construction document creation.
+ Advanced interior architecture detailing skills.
+ Working knowledge of building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
+ Working knowledge of space requirements and contract administration.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage and lead junior staff.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
