    Job Title: Quality SpecialistJob Description

     

    Join our team to revolutionize the treatment of hearing loss. As a Quality Specialist, you will perform quality inspections and provide documentation support for various initiatives. Your expertise in Medical Device Quality Assurance will be crucial in supporting receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, and maintaining accurate documentation.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the Quality Manager in ensuring the organization meets external and internal standards.

    + Conduct quality inspections and product assessments to ensure finished products meet requirements, including receiving inspections.

    + Perform in-process sub-assembly and final quality control inspections and acceptance testing.

    + Document product and process nonconformance and assist in their investigation and resolution.

    + Assist in maintaining quality system information databases as assigned.

    + Complete, review, and maintain various quality records and documentation.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment or other technical production tasks.

    + Effectively manage work tasks with attention to detail, being proactive, and possessing strong organizational skills.

    + Proficiency in using various measuring devices such as gages, rulers, calipers, micrometers, precision scales, magnifiers, and electrical meters.

    + Ability to read, understand, and apply a variety of work instructions and operating procedures.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + Ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation.

    + Collaborate with others to analyze and solve technical problems.

    + Teamwork skills to work professionally and support team actions.

    + PC experience and familiarity with common desktop applications including Excel and Word.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with ESD safe handling/control practices is a plus.

    + Knowledge of computerized vision measurement systems is a plus.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position is onsite, providing an opportunity to gain valuable experience in Medical Device Quality.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
