    Project Architect (Retail & F&B | Hybrid NYC)

     

    Design immersive consumer environments for top retail and food & beverage brands.

     

    We’re hiring a Project Architect to join a fast-paced Consumer Experiences (CX) team delivering high-impact retail and F&B projects. This is a hybrid role based in NYC, ideal for someone with strong Revit skills, construction documentation experience, and a passion for creating engaging, brand-driven spaces.

    About the Role

    You’ll serve as the technical lead on projects, overseeing contract deliverables, QA/QC, and coordination across all phases. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained through documentation, permitting, and construction.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead production and coordination of contract deliverables

    + Conduct field surveys, develop design drawings, and prepare construction documents

    + Oversee QA/QC and ensure adherence to documentation standards

    + Conduct code research and coordinate with AHJs

    + Support permitting, submittals, and construction administration

    + Participate in site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews

    + Manage project resources and contribute to financial tracking

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field

    + 5+ years of experience in retail and/or food & beverage projects

    + Proficiency in Revit

    + Strong experience in construction documentation and administration

    + Familiarity with permitting, RFI processes, and consultant coordination

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills

    Work Environment

    + Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

    + Up to 25% travel to project sites (company car provided)

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
