    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    In keeping with Dignity Health core values, the Labor & Delivery Scrub Technician functions as a team member during the preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative phases of obstetrical surgical procedures and vaginal deliveries. They actively participates as a member of the Labor & Delivery Patient Care Team.

    Job Requirements

    + Acute care experience.

    + Nurse assistants (CNA)/unit clerks without acute care experience within one (1) year, will be considered on an individual basis.

    + A minimum of one (1) year recent hospital experience (or equivalent) in the capacity of: a) an Operating Room Technician, b)an OB Scrub Tech, or c) an OB Tech; **or** must have all of the following: a) received practical education within the Hospital/surgical center or OB department within the last six (6) months, b) above average performance during practical education, and c) completion of a Surgical Technologist training program.

    + High school education (or equivalent)

    + BLS-CPR

    + Successful completion of an OR Technician Training program is highly desired.

    + Scrub technician experience desired.

    + CNA Certificate Desired.

    Pay Range

    $31.83 - $39.78 /hour
