Job Description
A Brief Overview
Assists in the day-to-day operational activities of healthcare organizations by providing administrative support, managing data and documentation, coordinating scheduling and logistics, and assisting with process execution. Ensures smooth operations, maintains accurate records, and supports the overall functioning of healthcare operations. This is a remote role, opened to qualified candidates in the United States.
Position Summary
The Sr. Clinical Coordinator research new cases, prescribers, provide clinical information support to internal and external customers, COA follow-ups, returned forms, processing approved action items, prescriber phone/fax contact.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for overall management and tracking of client cases in the unit. Conduct data analysis and provide research assistance for open cases. Track, coordinate and follow-up on case activities between courses of action.
2. Supports special projects in development and enhancements to program including but not limited to letters to physicians/member, standard operating procedures, operating system enhancements and streamlining of processes.
3. Coordinate letter/profile production (plan participant, physician), QC and determine if/when fulfillment can be completed.
4. Identify issues and support problem resolution with internal partners. Make recommendations and verify issue resolution through user system testing and verification.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of experience communicating with prescriber offices in a professional environment
Ability to work in both team environments and individually
Strong written and oral communication skills with medical professionals
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
Pharmacy experience or certified pharmacy technician
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands and meet deadlines with strong detail orientation.
Professional demeanor
Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs
Medical vocabulary and drug knowledge
Education
+ High School Diploma/GED

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $38.82
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
