Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Woodbury, New York. In this role, you will handle a variety of tax-related tasks, including the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. Your expertise will ensure compliance with tax regulations and help clients achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.

• Review and analyze financial information to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline and manage tax preparation processes.

• Manage K-1 preparation and ensure all required documentation is properly completed.

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax documents to identify potential deductions and credits.

• Provide clients with guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and incorporate them into the preparation process.

• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax scenarios and provide innovative solutions.

• Respond to client inquiries and resolve tax-related issues effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
