Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Professional to join our growing team in Mason. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, vendor relationships, and reporting analytics. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of AP processes, general accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform credit card reconciliations and ensure proper transaction categorization.

+ Conduct Item Profitability Report analytics to support management decision-making.

+ Prepare month-end depreciation entries and ensure accurate recording in the general ledger.

+ Manage freight-in and landed cost distributions to maintain accurate inventory valuation.

+ Complete 3-way match bill entries to ensure invoice accuracy and compliance.

+ Execute vendor statement reconciliations and assist with discrepancy resolution.

+ Review and analyze the first scan of the P& L to identify irregularities or variances.

+ Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment or billing issues promptly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

+ 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.

+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

+ Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
