Description We are looking for an experienced Applications Architect to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Palo Alto, California. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that align with organizational goals and technical standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing enterprise systems, ensuring compliance, and driving innovation across a variety of technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce architectural standards and integration guidelines to ensure consistency across solution designs.

• Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of technologies for workflows, data visualization tools, and enterprise systems.

• Design scalable solutions for platforms such as SAP S/4HANA and enterprise data systems, ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and optimization using APIs, Python, and business intelligence tools.

• Assess and address security, compliance, and governance risks throughout the architecture lifecycle.

• Provide technical leadership for cloud-based and AI-driven projects, ensuring solutions meet high performance standards.

• Drive alignment between business units and technical teams to achieve project success.

• Develop and maintain roadmaps for technology strategies that support long-term organizational objectives.

• Optimize data architecture using both relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform. Requirements • At least 7 years of experience in solution and systems architecture within enterprise environments.

• Proficiency in designing architectures for cloud, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Palantir Foundry, CI/CD tools, and scripting languages such as Python.

• Strong knowledge of database technologies, including NoSQL platforms like MongoDB and relational systems like MySQL.

• Expertise in API development and application architecture using .NET and ASP.NET.

• Familiarity with AWS technologies and cloud-based integration strategies.

• Proven ability to assess risks and ensure compliance with governance standards.
