Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst I to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial decision-making by conducting in-depth analysis and providing actionable insights. Your expertise will help ensure the alignment of organizational budgets with overall goals while maintaining compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed financial analyses to assess the impact of company decisions on profitability, financial structure, and competitive positioning.

• Develop and refine financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and resource allocation efforts.

• Monitor expenditures against budgets, identify significant variances, and recommend corrective actions to management.

• Provide actionable insights by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and highlighting opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with project teams to manage financials for key technology and infrastructure initiatives.

• Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Support the resolution of financial issues by working closely with other financial analysts and stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

• Contribute to the enhancement of budgetary and financial planning processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the utility or related industry.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including SAP R/3.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and accounting principles.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, and technology project management is a plus.

• Advanced skills in variance analysis, cost analysis, and strategic financial planning.
