• Staff Software Engineer

    Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join a client here in Boston. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative AI-driven solutions for the healthcare industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and lead the development of robust, scalable systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create AI-powered solutions tailored for healthcare applications.

    • Implement front-end components using React.js to ensure seamless user interactions.

    • Optimize system performance and ensure high availability across all deployed solutions.

    • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the development team.

    • Lead code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and reliability.

    • Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services.

    • Mentor engineers who are newer to the field, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

    • Stay informed about emerging trends in AI tools and integrate them into the development process as needed.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with attention to detail.

    • Strong expertise in backend development, particularly with Node.js and TypeScript.

    • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including React.js and JavaScript.

    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

    • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in software development.

    • A proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide other team members.
