    Compensation:

    + Associate: $130K–$160K + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits

    The Opportunity

     

    This newly created role within the Business Technology Integration (BTI) team offers a unique chance to shape and lead the firm’s data governance strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with business, legal, and technology leaders to establish frameworks that ensure data integrity, security, and usability—ultimately strengthening organizational trust and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design & Implement Governance Frameworks: Develop scalable, enterprise-wide data governance programs across Microsoft 365 and key SaaS platforms.

    + Data Protection & Classification: Define and enforce policies for data classification, retention, and access control.

    + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, technology, and operations teams to embed governance into daily workflows.

    + Monitoring & Risk Mitigation: Create dashboards and conduct audits to ensure compliance and reduce data-related risks.

    + Education & Enablement: Lead training initiatives and develop documentation to foster a culture of data responsibility and awareness.

    Requirements

    About You

     

    You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for data integrity and governance. You bring a strong mix of technical expertise, business acumen, and collaborative spirit to the table. Ideally, you have:

     

    + 7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or information security—preferably within confidential or regulated environments such as family offices, private wealth, or investment firms

    + Proven ability to design and operationalize governance frameworks and access control models

    + Hands-on experience with tools like Microsoft Purview, Defender for Cloud, or AvePoint

    + A collaborative mindset, with the ability to balance governance rigor and practical business needs

    + Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to excellence
