Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, California. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting team with essential tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.

• Manage billing operations, ensuring invoices are issued and tracked correctly.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle invoice processing, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

• Reconcile financial accounts to identify and correct any errors.

• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle for financial data management.

• Generate financial reports and provide analysis as needed.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.

• Assist with additional administrative tasks to support the accounting department. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.

• Proficiency in billing and invoice processing.

• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
