Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Gainsville, Georgia. This position involves managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing administrative support to the Supply Chain and Sourcing Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process accounts payable transactions, ensuring correct data entry and record-keeping.

• Manage inventory purchases by utilizing the three-way matching process to ensure accuracy.

• Input and maintain precise sourcing data within the company's system.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to address and resolve any inquiries or issues.

• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate records.

• Organize and maintain electronic accounts payable files for easy access and reference.

• Assist the Controller with bank statement reconciliations and other financial tasks.

• Follow established internal control policies to ensure financial security and compliance.

• Welcome visitors professionally and direct them appropriately while managing incoming calls courteously.

• Protect sensitive financial information by upholding strict confidentiality. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Prior experience in manufacturing, particularly with raw materials purchasing and inventory, is a plus.

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficient in data entry, mathematics, and financial reporting.

• High level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer service.

• Availability to work onsite five days a week.
