Description

We are looking for a dedicated Loan Servicing Professional to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will handle the end-to-end process of mortgage and consumer loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position is fully onsite and based in Quincy area, Massachusetts, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a reputable organization in the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process applications for mortgage and consumer loans, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.

• Prepare and verify loan documentation in compliance with credit union policies and federal and state regulations.

• Coordinate loan closings, ensuring a smooth process for all parties involved.

• Maintain precise tracking logs and loan records to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

• Monitor and address any discrepancies or issues related to loan servicing promptly.

• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates, address inquiries, and deliver exceptional service.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless loan administration and servicing.

• Stay updated on changes in regulations and policies to ensure compliance across all loan processes.

• Assist with ongoing audits and reporting to maintain operational standards.

• Support the implementation of best practices for improving loan handling efficiency.

Requirements • At least one year of experience in loan servicing, preferably within the banking or credit union sectors.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Strong knowledge of banking or credit union policies, systems, and regulations.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.

• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.

• Familiarity with consumer loans, mortgage servicing, and underwriting processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment.
