    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Pay:30-35/hr

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a foundry setting. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting various equipment and machinery used in our operations. The work schedule is from 4:30 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a loud and dirty environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and troubleshoot 480v/3phase motors, power units, rectifiers, and diodes.

    + Perform maintenance on machinery operating at 220 volts.

    + Handle hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

    + Work with vibratory screeners, conveyors, shaker conveyors, and mullers to ensure efficient operation.

    + Operate and maintain the automated sand molding system, known as the Sinto machine.

    + Familiarize yourself with PLC systems and replace cards as necessary.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance.

    + Familiarity with PLC systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience working in a foundry is beneficial but not required.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a foundry, which is characterized by a loud and dirty setting. Maintenance Technicians will work with various electrical and mechanical equipment, including 480v/3phase motors, power units, and automated systems. The role requires wearing appropriate protective gear to ensure safety.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $79040.00/yr.

     

    1st shift dual craft maintenance technician with 3+ years of maintenance experience.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
