Description We are looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Finance to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of fiscal processes in a dynamic environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the performing arts and entertainment industry and enjoys working on-site during events. Based in North Charleston, South Carolina, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of concerts and performances.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Ensure accurate nightly financial reconciliations during events and performances.

• Collaborate with event teams to maintain smooth financial processes for concerts and performing arts shows.

• Supervise general ledger activities, ensuring timely and precise entries.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

• Lead financial planning initiatives to optimize revenue and control costs.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, promoting efficiency and accountability.

• Develop and implement financial strategies tailored to the unique needs of the entertainment industry.

• Act as the primary point of contact for audits and external financial reviews. Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the entertainment or performing arts industry.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and financial reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and perform accurate forecasting.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Previous experience supervising teams and providing leadership in a finance setting.

• Familiarity with financial compliance and audit procedures.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Passion for the performing arts or entertainment industry is strongly preferred.
