Job Title: Wire Cutter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wire Cutter to join our team. You will be responsible for cutting bulk wire to specifications using a wire cutting machine. Our operations support electrical services in the Denver area, shipping out electrical wire, components, and equipment to service technicians.

Responsibilities

+ Read work orders and stage wire in the cutting area.

+ Operate wire cutting machines to measure and cut wire to specifications.

+ Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent costly mistakes.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months experience in construction, production, and strong experience using hand and power tools

+ Proficiency in basic math (e.g., 30+45=75).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with warehouse operations, forklift handling, and general labor is beneficial.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial warehouse environment that can be loud and dirty, with temperature variations from hot summers to cold winters. The work schedule is from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with potential overtime extending to 3-4 pm or occasionally 6 pm. The team consists of 15 warehouse employees, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and jeans without holes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
